Halloumi & Za’atar Soda Bread
Correction: it’s 250g of flour not 500g (I made a mistake in the later parts of the video) A simple acid and base reaction can give you the fastest bread you’ll ever make! And this one is special because it combines Mediterranean flavors from back home: Halloumi cheese, Za’atar mix (I used my favorite from @terraneanherbs ) and Nigella seeds (حبّة البركة). Less than 5 minutes to prepare then pop it in the oven for 35-40 minutes. And I’ll bet you this will be your go to whenever you have last minute visitors... or are craving warm homemade bread 🥖
