Stir it throughly

Five stars for this incredible spread! I bought this at Apple Market in Pensacola, FL. Beyond the amazing taste, I love that this business is women-owned and focuses on empowering women.
When you buy this, make sure to stir it thoroughly with a spoon before eating. Shaking it isn't enough, as the heavy spices naturally pack at the bottom. Once it is fully mixed, the flavor is phenomenal. It goes beautifully with focaccia bread, and I am already planning to use it on my homegrown eggplant and boiled quail eggs. My sister—who didn't care for it before we realized it needed to be stirred—is already begging for the jar. I'll be placing an online order for the holidays to gift some to her and stock up on my own!

I love this spread. It’s the perfect balance of spice and oil. The spices are amazing.
I eat it on pita bread. For an extra delicious treat, I spread a thin layer of labne on the pita and top it with a layer of zaatar spread, mixing them together. It’s absolutely delicious!

Truly Authentic Za'atar Spread

Terranean’s Za’atar spread is truly authentic—rich, old-country flavor just as we grew up with. As Lebanese-Americans, we are proud of our culture, food, and heritage, and Terranean has gone above and beyond to preserve the traditional tastes our parents and ancestors brought from the Old Country. Even my German-Norwegian husband of 43 years has grown to love and appreciate za’atar. This spread was a meaningful gift for him and one we both genuinely enjoy every day. I just wanted to let you know that I have been searching high and low for a pita chip that did not contain any seed oils, and I finally found it with your pita chips. The zaatar spreads are delicious! The original is authentic, and the spicy version has just the right kick (especially for someone who actually cannot handle heat!) You can tell the oil used for the spreads is very high quality, which keeps me coming back for more! I use the bagged zaatar for salad toppings, as a marinade for chicken, and overall seasoning.

The best zaatar I have ever been able to buy in the states. I wouldn't even bother with other zaatar brands. Authentic, earthy, well-balanced flavor with just enough kick in the spicy version. I love sprinkling it on salads and bagels, and mixing it with some good olive oil for a delish pita dip. Also lasts forever!!
