Recipe: Za’atar Fried Eggs

Give your breakfast an upgrade with our easy za’atar fried eggs recipe! Za’atar brightens up any dish, and protein-packed eggs are no exception: streamline your breakfast routine and incorporate za’atar into your daily ritual at the same time.   • 6-8 eggs
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Terranean Herbs & Spices za’atar
  • Terranean Herbs & Spices sumac
  • Sea salt


  1. Crack eggs into a bowl and begin to heat oil in a deep pan until glistening on medium high. 
  2. Once the oil is glistening, pour eggs into the pan. 
  3. Allow the eggs to cook and then give the pan a twirl so the uncooked parts of the eggs spread out. 
  4. Do this a few times in between adding the lid and lowering the heat to medium low. 
  5. Cook the eggs until the yolks are almost fully cooked through. 
  6. Garnish with Terranean Herbs & Spices za’atar, sumac, and sea salt to taste. 
  7. Remove from heat, plate, and serve! We love them with pita bread to scoop up all the goodness!
