Terranean Pita Chip Crusted Chicken Nuggets & Fries
Ingredients:
For the Chicken Nuggets:
2 chicken breasts, cut into nugget-sized pieces
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1 egg, beaten
1 cup Terranean Zaatar Pita Chips, crushed
For the French Fries:
2-3 russet potatoes, cut into fries
Oil, for frying
Salt, to taste
Instructions:

Prepare the Nuggets:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) or heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F (175°C) if frying.

Set up a breading station with three shallow bowls – one with flour, one with the beaten egg, and one with the crushed Terranean Zaatar Pita Chips.

Coat each chicken piece in the flour, then dip in the egg, and finally press into the crushed pita chips to coat thoroughly.

Place on a baking sheet if baking or set aside if frying.

Cook the Chicken:

Baking: Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the nuggets are golden and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Frying: Fry the nuggets in batches for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden and fully cooked. ( internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

Make the Fries:

Heat the frying oil in a deep fryer or large pot.

Fry the potato slices in batches until golden and crispy, about 5-6 minutes per batch.

Drain on paper towels and season with salt.
