Recipe: Za’atar Labneh Toast
Skip the avocado toast and give this protein-rich, antioxidant-filled labneh toast a try! INGREDIENTS

2 slices of bread: a good crusty, country bread is the perfect vehicle

Sambal hot sauce, to taste

1 small cucumber, thinly sliced and salted

A handful of micro arugula

1⁄2 tsp kosher salt
-
2 tbsp labneh
-
Extra virgin olive oil, to taste

Terranean Herbs & Spices za’atar, to taste
INSTRUCTIONS

If your cucumbers are not salted, salt them and set aside.

Toast the bread.

Add labneh to each slice.

Follow the labneh with a drizzle of Sambal hot sauce.

Add the olive oil and za’atar until the labneh is relatively evenly covered.

Top with the cucumbers, add more za’atar, salt, and the arugula.

Serve and enjoy! This goes well with some cherry tomatoes on the side for a perfectly
bright brunch.
