Recipe: Sunny Side Up Za’atar Eggs

One of my favorite ways to enjoy za’atar, sunny side up eggs are the perfect addition to your morning. Packed with protein, antioxidants, and choline, this recipe is reminiscent of the Lebanese eggs I grew up eating, and works perfectly with either our [za’atar spread] or our [shaker]. INGREDIENTS

  • 6 eggs
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil

  • Terranean Herbs & Spices Lebanese za’atar, to taste

    INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place frying pan on medium-high heat and pour olive oil. Wait until heated through.

  2. Crack eggs into the heated oil.

  3. Before whites completely set, add za’atar to taste, ensuring it is evenly spread across all

    yolks and whites.

  4. Continue cooking eggs until whites are set, waiting longer if you prefer a firmer yolk.

  5. Remove the eggs from the pan and serve to enjoy!
